Winter Club Ride Details.

(October 18, 2017)

So now the summer is over we will be running the following club rides throughout the winter, so if you plan to put in a good solid amount of winter miles come join us.
On a Monday evening we will continue our road rides. These will start from the shop in Weymouth at 6.30pm every week and take various routes of about 20-25 miles at an average speed of approx. 15-16mph. They will of course be weather dependant but it will be entirely up to you to make the decision whether to ride or not. All riders will need suitable clothing for the weather conditions and obviously good lights.
On tuesday evenings we will be starting a new weekly gravel ride. These will take in roads and gravel tracks and would be suitable for gravel / cyclocross or hardtail mtb bikes. They will be approx. 20 miles in length at about 13-15mph average. I will put up the meeting point for these rides tomorrow.
Our mtb rides continue all year round starting from various locations at 7pm. They are ridden at a fairly good pace so perhaps not suitable for beginners but if you can ride 20 miles off road at an average of 12mph you should be ok. If in doubt come along and give it a try. The meeting place, a pub, is published on facebook and our website every Wednesday.
From Sunday 12th of November we will be running weekly steady endurance road rides of various distances meeting at a place and time as will be stated on facebook and our website.
So no excuse theres a ride for almost everyone there, come join the fun.
